How it works
From a public shelf listing to a number you can defend.
Six stages. Nothing skips a stage, every row keeps the record of where it came from, and anything the pipeline is unsure about stops and waits for a person.
MEASURED · every figure carries its run
- 01
Collect
Read publicly available or permissioned grocery surfaces at a polite pace, without bypassing any access control.
- 02
Normalize
Convert every store's own fields into one schema: price, stock, unit, category, image, location and source channel.
- 03
Model the offer
A lower headline price is not automatically a better one. Unconditional prices stay separate from card, bundle and quantity conditions.
- 04
Resolve identity
Group listings into product families, sellable variants and store offers using barcodes, image fingerprints and a bilingual grocery lexicon.
- 05
Review the uncertain
Confident matches flow through. Ambiguous pairs stop and wait for a second opinion and a human decision before anything is released.
- 06
Publish with provenance
Approved state lands behind migration checks and release gates, and every figure keeps the scrape run it came from.
What we will not do
- We do not bypass a login, a paywall or a security control to reach a price. If a member of the public cannot see it, we do not read it.
- We do not fill a gap with an estimate. A missing week is reported as missing.
- We do not publish a match the pipeline was unsure about until a person has decided it.
